The iBurst dual wan router allows you to connect two iBust modems for faster browsing and greater through-put.
This device offers an integrated 8-port Fast Ethernet switch, dynamic load balancing with automatic fail-over, a high performance firewall and Stateful Packet Inspection. Protocol Binding for the total control of the data moving through the router is included.

Wireless VoIP Router

• A shared iBurst connection.
• A Wireless Access Point to connect Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices.
• A 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch, to connect your wired-Ethernet devices.
• A phone adapter which enables high-quality telephone service. There are two independent standard telephone jacks.

The router can encode all wireless transmissions with up to 128-bit encryption to protect your data and privacy. It can serve as a DHCP Server, has a powerful SPI firewall to protect your PCs against intruders and most known Internet attacks. It supports VPN pass-through, and can be configured to filter internal users’ access to the Internet. Configuration is a snap with the web browser-based configuration utility.

This smart, affordable modem/ router is equipped with dual ports (Ethernet and USB). You can connect it to two or more computers and the web-based user interface makes network management easy.


It costs R412.28 (excl. VAT), but is free on all iBurst ADSL 24-month modem-included contracts.
